 Come on then score predictions for today. Spit went 2-0 I think. I’m sticking with 3-0 as it just feels depressingly predictable given our squad issues and I get the sense the players don’t believe they can win anymore.

 With the IOW population being 141,000, many old people who don't,/won't use apps. Can't see uber doing that well on the non summer months. It will put a few good drivers out of buisness, and the bus services will probably decline with lack of paying customers.

 Do the IOW taxis have an existing app which does the equivalent of the core UX of the Uber app? If not then they should quickly get one built. It’s not difficult to do and it removes one of the two main customer benefits of using Uber - ease of ordering a ride (the other being price, for now.) In some European cities, particularly those that are relatively self-contained eg Tromso in Norway, similar in some ways to the IOW, the taxis have their own app which allows you to hail/order a taxi easily. They don’t have, need or want Uber. If that app exists already then it would be interesting to understand Uber have been granted their license - ie what problem does that solve?

 Uber is slave labour,if you look at how much a fare is, how much % a driver has to give uber ,the driver running cost etc, driver probably making £2 on a £ 10 fare.no wonder they do 12/16 hour days.,
