Mav - I read recently that that scene was based on a true story. (At least the actor in the focus group playing a part was true.)

JaW - Agreed. I'm reminded of a scene from The Thick of It when they decided policy based on the views of one member of a focus group who they thought was particularly switched on but who turned out to be an actress playing a role.

JaW - Your suggestion sounds a bit like a focus group. That could be helpful in rolling the pitch for this. I'll raise it at next week's board meeting as I'd say we need to get this moving again sooner rather than later.

P99 - just don't get on one that has trouble getting up Surbiton Hill when fully loaded. It does revive old memories of green buses though.

You only have to look at the area around craven cottage, property prices over 4 million for a touse with no front garden parking. The wembley steward I was talking to Monday was a Fulham fan and he said that stand and the riverside restaurant/bars are amazing..probably why it wins best ground in many poles

Unfortunately for true Fulham fans, I suspect it might work out ok. My friend who is a successful city lawyer says his firm have season tickets there where they take colleagues and clients. None of them really care about Fulham but they know that more than half the games are against big teams, it’s easy to get to, etc etc.
