Swig - I agree, a clear foul, and rightly penalised. I was actually astounded at the commentary team who were saying there wasn’t a foul there 🤷🏻‍♂️

Football is weird. A week or so ago Martinelli was being berated for rolling the injured Liverpool player off the pitch. Yesterday a Brighton player pulled an 'injured' Bournemouth player back onto the pitch (no idea why) and nobody mentioned it at all.

does it only matter if some of the 'big 6' are involved?
I agree Swig but it does seem to be a judgement call as in most cases both players are wrestling each other and penalty or free kick is only awarded when one players loses the wrestle. Dunno how stop it tbh. I’d say just let em get on with it and if you don’t wanna get involved then keep moving.

Probably have to have a rule to say no one is allowed to touch the keeper until the ball is in play or something like that.
Bit late in the day but Morocco's penalty award was correct. It's a shame more referees don't penalise defenders pulling strikers to the ground when the ball is in flight from corners.

Ps I wasn’t saying you were saying we should gamble… it just seems to be what we’re doing.

Ideology used as a bunker hatch.
This isn’t a post “against” yours. When the league structure is 90 teams privately owned and 2 fan owned and both facing uncertain financial futures then you can blame either side but for want of a better phrase… it is what is is.

I don’t think it makes any sense to gamble on the implosion of English football whilst also desperately trying to survive. There is no sign of Armageddon or revolution in English football, however crazy the whole thing seems to the common or garden match-going football fan.
OI also depends on what save us looks like. I suspect the most vocal may genuinely believe that selling the majority = championship and beyond. And will never be happy. What the majority want still doesn't seem to be clear.

If we go into administration we will be kicked out of the league.
Doubt many would argue with your moral Lurker. The problem is the people who think changing the structure will happen in time to save us.

If someone was interested we'd have a lot more activity on 50+1. Honestly we'd need to sell control of the club for a genuine interest.

As said before, you can blame fan ownership all you want, but you need to also realise that the size and wealth of too many clubs in L1 (and even L2) is fucking the whole league structure.

Russ could also add that the value of talented youngsters improves the closer you are to EPL.

I'd very happily take 20p each for my shares which I think values the whole club somewhere around 10 million.

There are also intangible assets like the brand and the league place. Winkelman wasn’t buying Wimbledon for the players, but the league place was invaluable. We are two promotions (soon to be three, probably) from the Premier League. Wrexham’s value has no doubt increased substantially because of their proximity to the english premier league.

Naz, it's worth what someone will pay for it, or what the market says if you prefer. It's cost, if that's what you mean, is about £33m gross of any depr in last five years; stadium +£? for freehold which was given to us, and therefore not on the balance sheet

I've no idea what the land is worth but you also have to take off book number for creditors £8m plus another £1m
Has anyone got a very rough idea of what our club/ground is currently worth? (As a benchmark, I believe that Wrexham sold for £2 million as a non-league club with a similar sized but ageing stadium in a very different location.)

Too wet and cloudy where I am to see anything. I don't seem to have a lot of luck whenever there is something to view in the night sky. Went to see the Northern Lights in Nordkapp about 25 years ago and didn't see a damn thing other than a boring sunset.
