CW: Re 4000 I would have thought that’s not great. Surely most would have got them by now and last year 5000 plus wasn’t it?

I would doubt that the food and drink under the new contract will be any better or worse than we have now (mass catering of that type is always much of a muchness) but if we are getting an up-front payment to cover capital works that we can’t otherwise afford, and other financial benefits then it is all to the good. Sounds like good work in renegotiating the contract - it does sound from the spiel in the announcement about all the big contracts that they have that we are going to be one of their smallest customers.

Crystals was, genuinely, probably the WORST bar I've been to in my life. And now I'm getting flashbacks to the sticky carpet in the Thomas Farley. Yurgh.

Sav - I understand that the operational details will be resolved between the club and Aramark once they take over the contract on 1 July, but that Aramark have stated that they will retain a diverse offering in there.

Stella was under a fiver when we started at NPL. Now over £7 I think. I wouldn't mind if we had a semi-decent lounge to sit down in and the club were making money, but for now Wetherspoons in CJ and even sitting on the wall outside Lidl with a £1.50ish beer is a better option.

What was the supporters' lounge at Selhurst called? Crystals? Not brilliant but okay. Hopfully any south stand rebuild will have a massive fans lounge unddrneath.
We were going to use PSG’s bus for our open top tour but it got torched by the feral youth of Paris 😀

Oldham having there’s today!
Maybe I’m misremembering but I’m pretty sure that one of the DTBers on here (or Discord) suggested that keeping a good beer selection in The Phoenix was a priority for Elior’s replacement.

For me there isn’t a good enough drinking space at NPL to worry about whether the beer is good - I just hope for quick queues for last drink before game and/or half time
Ah, I mis-remembered. I hope we do continue to get some interesting beers in the Phoenix.

Dons Outlook, I would be very surprised if we get any different beers in the Phoenix (is it still called that as the only branding is that of By The Horns?). It brings another layer of complication to ordering and storage which operators don’t like. It would be a big loss as our stadium has gained a reputation as a venue with unusually good beer and food choices.
