His contract details is bizarre. On one hand we are told that his contract has run out on 30/5/2025 but he is on their retained list. Does he has an extension triggered? Are they negotiating a new one. Can't see it being more than a year.

Bromley would probably want 400k for a nearly 34 year old, plus wages a striker would want , or get a fee when he retires or moves to sutton at 36/37 , and we ain't got no pennies to splash .

How long is Cheek's contract at Bromley? What fee would Bromley want? Would he want a move to a League 1 side tipped by many for relegation? What would be his salary demands?

Callum Stead has scored 19 and 14 in the National League which would translate to 10 tops in League One. Cheek scored 25 least season.

I'd rather have a thirty something who will score goals for a 2/3 seasons than someone who is ten years younger and may only score 7/8 goals a season if we are lucky. You win games by scoring goals and the more you score the less perfect you have to be in defence
