DunDONald (or anyone else who may have it) - I’m looking for a specific programme - 8 Aug 17 against Brentford at Kingsmeadow in the EFL cup

Would be great to join an effort to digitise old programmes as well
TBK as a distance supporter who doesn’t know anybody on here personally, you’re coming across very badly. You’re part of the Governance of the club. Be prepared to converse with everybody on here or don’t get involved at all. Blanking Trigger and ignoring the questions of others, whilst being pally-pally with (and frequently flippant) with others really isn’t a good look.

I suspect I know the answer to this but... Would any of you like several boxes of AFC Wimbledon (home) programmes, dating back to 2002 (plus a few WFC programmes from before then)? Not a complete set but probably a very considerable percentage. Generally reasonable condition. There are no rare ones. I'm happy to deliver within a reasonable distance of SW19.

All a little bit weird
Martin - Then perhaps the chair should not have told me I would have to resign if I wanted to tell the truth about what happened in relation to the election.

It's a shame you are not still on the board to continue to express that view.

Martin - Of course it is common practice that, if the number of candidates is equal to or less than the number of seats available, then the candidates will take their seats without a vote. But in those circumstances I think we can agree that those candidates have not been voted into their seats. And therefore, by the dictionary definition, they have not been elected because there has been no vote. I expressed the view to the board while I was still on it that I do not think the chair of the board should be someone who has not been elected in a contested election.

Do we have anyone on the Board who has actually owned or been a main board director of a company roughly the size of the club? Simon?

It's beginning to moving towards a bit Itchy and Scratchy on here. Dons related, yes, but a bit boring for folk like me. Maybe the disagreements can be taken elsewhere? (e.g. a thread) I just want to watch and discuss some football. And we're doing quite well - well done the Dons!

Welcome home Aideen. Hope you and your delayed mates had a good time.
Good to see Chris get in, always helpful when he worked for the club but I am less positive than I was last year after we had Sean, Ian and Simon keen to find a sustainable way forward.

TBK incidentally what was it specifically that I’ve done to you? Not sure I’ve ever been nasty towards you other than pointing out your inability (in my eyes) read the wup room. Are you being told to not acknowledge me or is it your own decision?
Mav at 15:48 - that's absolutely crux of the matter, isn't it? We can only surmise, unfortunately.

Angus is entitled to his positions. Whether he uses the relevant powers wisely would obviously be a subjective view for each individual to take.

Martin - Cambridge English Dictionary definition of 'elected' is "to decide on or choose, especially to choose a person for a particular job, by voting". So if there is no vote then they haven't been elected. They've been appointed.
