This reminds me a lot of the premier league relegation season. The message is the same Jackson keeps on saying Our destiny is in our hands. He is of course technically correct but the situation is stark. How do you arrest a run of 6 defeats in a row at this stage of the season ? The team is a playing as if it doesn’t believe it can turn things around. Jackson sounds like he’s trying to convince himself that we can turn it around but doesn’t really believe it. The use clauses around the stadium and the existing flat structure mean the land probably isn’t as attractive as some may think. Agree with TF. If you’re a football club investor you’ll take the club cheap and be able to put more into budgets.

Reeves stopped being first choice months ago. Was quite impressed with Nelson when he came on. Problem is that’s the first time I’ve seen him take on a game like that. If he can play like that I’d have him starting last 2 games.

If I’m a serious investor looking at option 1: hand over a sum of money but still have minority control vs option 2: pick up a club on the cheap and then invest money directly to where it matters then as long as that happens quickly enough the cash injection could overcome a L2 points deduction or bounce us back out of the National League.
